Well. I am almost a pensioner but without much of a pension to look forward to. 

I was formerly trained as an electrical/electronic engineer and later moved into sales; selling electrical/electronic test equipment for most of that time. I had little excursions into selling other products but now I am out of technical sales after the telecoms industry went into decline about 4  or 5 years ago.

When I was in sales, I did lots of driving, but I was not paid for the driving only for the selling part. Now that I am out of sales I still do lots of driving for which I now get paid and I don’t have to worry about achieving sales targets.

 I have always considered my driving job to be a fall back job while I look for other ways of generating an income.

I have attended  bootcamps and seminars to learn of the alternative ways to making money which does not involve trading time for money.  

For  a long time I have wanted to get a revenue from the internet and there are lots of different ways to do it. I just need to find one that interests me sufficiently to make me to stick at it until I succeed.

The hard part is turning the theory into practice and sticking with something long enough to make a success of it.

I have dabbled in the stock market and property and whilst I had a little success in the stockmarket, I also had my failures so it did not last too long, though it is still something I might go back to once I can increase my cashflow.

Buying property in Cyprus has been a learning experience and whilst I have been fortunate in some respects there are still some issues ahead that will have to be overcome. Nevertheless, property over the long term is usually a good investment and  this is one revenue stream which in the longterm should pay off.

The internet is my next target for generating an income stream. There are many ways to do it and I just have to find something that works and I enjoy doing. As I am a techie sort of person, I have been teaching myself computing skills and I have build a few websites to promote my properties and a few other products.

For now, I want to concentrate on the internet and for this reason when the opportunity came along to join Alex Jeffreys List-Building course I jumped at it. With Alex as my mentor in the field of List Building and Internet Marketing, I am confident that before long I should have a revenue stream coming from the internet that will be my passport to giving up the driving job and trading that for working on the internet and other streams of income.

These streams of income are what I see as being my pension for the years ahead.
